Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

John 15:20

Remember what I told you: “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

O-bservation:

Jesus was establishing before His disciples the fact that whatever rejection or acceptance He had received from the masses, the same would be true for His disciples.

A-pplication:

When we read the words of Jesus in scripture, that we His disciples would in time do even “Greater Things” than He had done, we have a tendency to think that it will also be smooth sailing for us. The truth is, the greater the Anointing the greater the potential persecution. In other words, when we decide to be a “Follower of Jesus” we take the good and the bad with our calling.  Jesus isn’t calling for great leaders; He’s calling for great followers. When we are willing to get in line with Jesus, we’re saying, “Bring it on. Whatever you ask of me Lord, I’m willing.” That’s “What Jesus Wants.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m going to practice what I just preached. Bring it on. Whatever You ask of me, I’m willing. Amen
