Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Jeremiah 10:12

But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

O-bservation:

The great Prophet Jeremiah describes the Lord’s architecture of the cosmos as we know it. He speaks of the Earth being assembled by God’s POWER. The World being assembled by God’s WISDOM. And the Heavens being assembled, “stretched out,” by God’s UNDERSTANDING.

A-pplication:

Just the sheer POWER of God’s might made the earth from nothing. What do you need made today on your behalf, by God’s POWER? The World was founded by God’s WISDOM. The word “World” speaks of more than inanimate structure; it speaks of living things as well. It took the WISDOM of God to make the earth into a World in which living things could coexist in harmony. For those barely coexisting with family and acquaintances, perhaps you need God’s Wisdom to turn your little Earth into a World of harmony. Finally, it took God’s UNDERSTANDING to stretch the heavens into a universe of activity that overwhelms the mind of humans. Today, allow the Lord to overwhelm the enemy of your soul by stretching His forgiveness of your sin as far as the east is from the west. That’s what God can do by His, “Power, Wisdom, And Understanding.”
