Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Chronicles 2:11

Hiram King of Tyre replied by letter to Solomon: “Because the Lord loves his people, he has made you their king.”

O-bservation:

Even though Hiram didn’t follow the God of Israel, he and his people had gained unusual respect for the fearless leadership of Solomon’s father, David, that he certainly knew that their God reigned supreme, simply because of this unusual commendation. When Hiram wrote to Solomon and acknowledged that the God of Israel indeed loved them because he had placed Solomon as king over them, you would have to say that is, “Truly Amazing!”

A-pplication:

I believe that you and I should live in such a way that our friends and neighbors will have to say, “Your God must love me, because he placed you in my life.” I want to make a difference in people’s lives by loving them like Jesus loves them. Seriously, many of my friends don’t follow Christ, but they do follow me, and I believe that in time if they follow me, they will have to follow Christ because they will know that it’s he and he alone who gives me the power and strength to face each day. When the day comes that your walk with the Lord and my walk with the Lord turn people also to follow Jesus, that will be, “Truly Amazing!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I’m asking you for a fresh anointing on me to LOVE people. I want my love for you and for people to be so compelling that people will be “Truly Amazed.” At that point, I believe they will follow you. Amen
