S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 13:7

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

O-bservation:

The IT that begins this passage of scripture is the subject known as LOVE. “The Four ALWAYS Of Love” are inspiring. Love ALWAYS 1) Protects, 2) Trusts, 3) Hopes, and 4) Perseveres! Can you imagine LOVE ALWAYS continuing to hold you up when you feel like falling? The Apostle Paul promises that love will ALWAYS be there in every good time and crisis.

A-pplication:

I know that what I’m going to say right now is not so anointed that it would make the Holy Canon known as the Word of God. But I think it’s a little bit anointed anyway. And here it is. I have learned that love, real love, ALWAYS goes first. I have also learned that when I am ready to engage love towards someone else in need and go first, God always steps in and causes a winning result. Even in apparent failure and I have failed, others have seen the need to jump in and help. That’s love. Because love is like a gatherer of other lovers, it’s so compelling that folks show up when loves trumpet is sounded. If you’re in need today, trust “The Four ALWAYS Of Love,” they won’t let you fall.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m so blessed to be loved by You, dear Jesus. So many others vie for my attention and allegiance. I’m sorry for the “others.” That ship sailed a long time ago. I love You and You alone! Amen
