Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 31:8
You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place.
O-bservation:
King David was always aware of the load he was carrying for his beloved nation Israel. In this passage, once again, he was troubled by advancing enemies, and he said to the Lord, “You have not let my enemies advance against me and given me over to them, but instead you have placed my feet in such a spacious place that there’s, “Room To Spare!”
A-pplication:
Have you ever been so overwhelmed with an advancing challenge coming against you that you felt cornered? I don’t know; it may be a bill you can’t pay, or a medical prognosis that caught you off guard, or maybe a son that you’re concerned about the friends he hangs out with. But, if the truth be told, you feel hemmed in and don’t know what to do about it. Well, let me say to you, my friend. Jesus IS concerned, but not about that or them. He’s concerned about you today. He’s ready to lift you out of the advancing enemies’ attack and set you in such a spacious place that you’ll have “Room To Spare.” Believe the Lord for it as we pray together right now!
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m standing with my friend right now. You know exactly what the enemy has brought on her today. I’m praying that you will lift him out of the crisis and set her feet in such a large and peaceful place that he’ll feel as if he has, “Room To Spare!” Please Jesus, do it today. Amen
