S-cripture:

Job 19:27

I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

O-bservation:

Here is a man named Job, who has suffered perhaps more than anyone we’ve ever known or read about. His friends had blamed him for his own calamity. He himself believed that God had turned against him, and yet he longed to see the Lord and said, “One Day, I Will See The Lord!”

A-pplication:

No matter how much Job was convinced God had turned away from him, he was also convinced that God really loved him and that he would see Him one day. This was an unusual man. I know countless people in my experience who believe God has purposely hurt them and has some kind of a vendetta against them. Still others have allowed bitterness to so completely engulf them that they don’t even believe there is a God. Whatever may happen in a negative fashion in our lives, it is very important we choose to see the Lord as our loving Heavenly Father. And that together each of us would say,  “One Day, I Will See The Lord.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I feel this AM like Job did. I yearn to see You one day. I believe all of my temporary sorrows and longings will be gone when I see You. Amen
