Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Galatians 3:11
Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because the righteous will live by faith.

O-bservation:

St Paul, the apostle, was explaining to the Christian followers in Galatia that they could not keep going back to a list of rules and ordinances by which to lead their lives. He was adamant that the Christian life was all about living by faith. In fact, he said that true people of righteousness will always live by faith!

A-pplication:

Some people I know actually live with a list of what they did good today. They actually believe that God is more interested in their list than he is about them. But the truth is, our great God is impressed only when we live by faith. When we came to Christ, we did so by faith. I didn’t see Jesus face to face when I yielded my life and future to him as a young man, NO! I did that by faith. When he brought my Robyn into my life, I asked her to marry me by faith, that she really was the one who could be with me, and by partnering together, we could be more effective than we would be apart. In a few weeks, we will cross the fifty-year mark of marriage! All are accomplished by faith. So today, “NEVER FORGET THIS!” The righteous will live by faith.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I’m looking back on my life of faith. Wow! What an amazing journey you have led me on. I never had a list, but I had a lot of faith. Only because of you, Lord, can I make this claim! I’m looking into a bright future with you leading the way! All the way. Amen
