Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

O-bservation:

St. Paul, who wrote this letter to the Ephesian church, was always enthralled with the thought of his Savior Jesus. Here he told the church that our great Lord is able to do immeasurably “MORE” than you and I could ever think or imagine. The word “MORE” has always captured my attention. He is the God of the “MORE.”

A-pplication:

What is it that you need your God to do for you today? Are you lonely? The Bible says that “God sets the lonely in families.” (Ps.68:6a) Are you discouraged today? The Bible says that “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deut. 31:8) Are you battling financial loss? The Bible says, “Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.” (Prov. 13:11) I could go on and on, but the one thing I’ve learned these many years serving the Lord is that whatever my need is when I pray, he doesn’t just supply my needs, but he does “MORE” when he answers my prayers than I could ever think or imagine. He is the God of the “MORE.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I have to be honest, I really need “MORE,” than I can think or imagine. Some days I feel like my ability to COPE is drained on every level. This day is one of them. Could you help me today? Amen
