Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Mark 4:35

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”

O-bservation:

Earlier in the day, Jesus was teaching and the crowds became so large that He got into a boat and taught from the boat as the people continued to stand at the waters edge. At the end of the day He said to His disciples “Let’s go to the other side.”

A-pplication:

We don’t know everything involved as to why Jesus wanted to leave that area and go to the other side of the lake at night, but He did. The Gospel is so powerful that when you’re full of it, you can’t help but to “Keep Reaching For More.” They had worked hard all day. Jesus had taught all day. In fact, on the boat ride to the other side He fell asleep. I know in my own life, even from youth, I’ve always had an urge to “Keep Reaching For More.” When Jesus fills you, His power takes over and pushes you to want to give to others that which He’s given to you. There comes a point where pain is put aside, weariness is laid aside, and in some cases relationships that hold you back are put aside so you can pursue Jesus. As a “Follower Of Jesus,” always remember to “Keep Reaching For More.”
