Just Get One Person To Agree With You!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Matthew 18:19

Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my father in heaven.

O-bservation:

Here Jesus was teaching that if a person could “Just Get One Person To Agree With Them,” anything they agree upon and ask the Lord for will be done for them by Almighty God in heaven. They don’t have to get a whole neighborhood, or city, or state, or nation to agree with them. NO! Jesus said, “Just Get One Person To Agree With You,” and whatever you ask for will be granted by our Father in heaven.

A-pplication:

Sometimes I think we complicate this more than we should. First of all let’s take out the obvious things like asking God to kill someone who has done you wrong. Also, don’t agree with someone in prayer for God to help you do something that is morally, legally, or ethically wrong. God does not break his own word. After that don’t try and figure out how God can do it, or tell him how he should make it happen. NO!

“Just Get One Person To Agree With You!” Take hold of their hand and read this passage out loud together. Once you’ve done that, state your case; what is it that you agree for? Then thank God for making it happen, in his way and in his time. Then the process of waiting and praising him and not doubting begins. As the two of you are faithful to hold on to these principles, it will happen in God’s way and in God’s time.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I have my dear wife, who for so many years has been my one person who agrees with me in prayer. You have done the rest. You’ve always answering our prayers of agreement in your way and in your time. Thank You Jesus! Amen
