S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece.
Paul the Apostle had just gotten out of Ephesus with his life. All through Macedonia and into Greece, He spoke many words of ENCOURAGEMENT to the people. No matter what the apostle faced, he always ended up blessing and encouraging people everywhere, proving that “It’s Hard To Keep A Good Person Down!”
What happens to you when you feel like your enemies will never cease to harass you? St. Paul faced opposition everywhere he went. There were periods where he had a brief reprieve from the attacks, but more often than not he was on the run. On one occasion, he was stoned by the people with rocks and the people thought he was dead, so they left him lying there. When they left, Paul got up and went to a place called Derbe and began preaching again. You can read this in Acts 14. I’m not saying that we all must be as bold as Paul, but I can say that our complete trust must be in the Lord. And when it is, you will always get up! Because “It’s Hard To Keep A Good Person Down!”
I can see and feel that’s it’s already a great day! I’ve had many days that didn’t look or feel like it was a good day, but You always helped me get up and keep going! Thank You!! Amen
