Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

O-bservation:

Jesus had been asked by his disciples to discuss the events or signs of the time that would indicate his return was near. As Jesus was discussing these signs, he talked quite a bit about things that at that time would be destroyed and done away with. Then he said, “Even though everything will in time pass away, my words will never pass away.”

A-pplication:

It would be one thing if Jesus had lived in the 1960s when I was growing up and had been one of my contemporaries and had said those words. But friend, Jesus spoke the above words well over two thousand years ago, and nearly 3 billion people on the planet follow his words today! Think of all of the empires and despots the world has seen come and go, and yet Jesus remains the guiding force for so many people today. His words are truly a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway. When I’m in my most difficult situations of life, I have always clung to the Word of God. “I’m Thankful For The Word Of God!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, it is with humble gratitude that I raise my hands in adoration to you, my King! There has never been before you, and there will surely never be anyone after you that has kept their promises as have you. Your words are “yes and amen” to those who believe! “I’m Thankful For Your Word!” Amen
