God’s Not Finished With Israel

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Deuteronomy 33:29

Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.

O-bservation:

Many theologians believe that Old Testament Israel is the New Testament Church. In some cases, God certainly has promoted the Church with unparalleled growth since He began the church on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2. Yet Israel is still unique as God’s love towards the nation is still very much in effect. These people, known as Israel, certainly have been saved by God through the ages. And to be quite sure, “God’s Not Finished With Israel!”

A-pplication:

Yes, the Jewish people, by and large, have rejected Jesus as the Messiah since His death, burial, and resurrection from the grave over two thousand years ago. Yet a time is coming where that will no longer be the case. The scripture says after His first coming to earth, “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:11-12). That is true. All of us who know Jesus as Lord knows of the Jewish people’s rejection of Jesus as their Messiah. However, the second time He comes, His people, Israel, will run to Him. One-third of Israeli people who enter the tribulation will be saved and acknowledge Jesus as Messiah and Lord. Certainly, “God’s Not Finished With Israel!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Help me love Israel, and the Jewish people like You love them. I am for all people, but especially those You have chosen for Yourself. Amen
