Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Genesis 8:22
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.
O-bservation:
These were God’s words to Noah and his family and the earth’s future inhabitants following the great flood. The flood killed every person and every living creature save for two of each creature that Noah fit in the ark with his family. But, God said, “I’ll never destroy the inhabitants of the earth again.” And to set the record straight, it has never happened again because “God Made A Promise.”
A-pplication:
If you are facing an extreme challenge today, I would encourage you to search Scripture to find a promise of God that applies to the situation in front of you. It could be a sickness, financial, relational, or addiction you’re facing, but I can tell you there is a promise from God for every challenge we face. Run away from the world’s negative narratives. Hold to the Lord today. The word of God tells us that “God’s promises are yes and amen to those who believe!” God made a promise to Noah and all of us who have ever lived on the face of the earth since He made it, and he’s never broken that promise. What promise do you need to embrace today? Please find it in God’s Word and hold on to it.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I love you this AM, Lord. And I must say I believe your promises to my friend and me. We will never stop believing the promises of God. We promise! Amen
