Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Colossians 1:17

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

O-bservation:

In the previous verses, St. Paul talked about the fact that Jesus created all things and is the reason that everything in the world and beyond the world exists. It doesn’t matter who or what it is, He made it all. Then Paul said, “It’s by the Lord that ALL things HOLD together.”

A-pplication:

I suppose the biggest question you and I should address this AM would be, what in our lives is falling apart? Is it happening on the job, or in the home, or in the bank account, or in the mind, or in the body, or in the realm of the Spirit? Once again the Apostle said, speaking of Jesus, “In Him all things HOLD TOGETHER!” In other words, Jesus can hold our marriage together, our money together, our health together, our minds together, and our spiritual well-being together. I know that sounds impossible to some, however, He is the creator of all things and He’s holding everything together both on the earth and in the universe. Certainly this AM, if Jesus is holding ALL things together we can, “Get It Together.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m thankful this AM that You are holding everything in the universe together. Because You are, I have the power to “Get It Together” with Your help. Amen
