Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Acts 5:39

“But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

O-bservation:

Peter and others of the Apostles had been ministering throughout Jerusalem and were thrown into prison for preaching. God delivered them out of prison in the night, and they were found ministering in the temple the next day. When they were hauled before the authorities, the Pharisee leader, Gamaliel, stood and said, “Let these men go. If their purpose is of human origin, it will fail. ‘But If God’s In It,’ you won’t be able to stop them, and you will only be fighting God!”

A-pplication:

I feel in my heart I’m writing to someone this AM who has been under severe attack from the enemy for doing the will of God. Maybe you have taken a stand at work for the gospel’s sake. Could it be that you have been asked to join a team of people you know are out to do wrong but have said, “NO,” and now you’re fearing reprisal from them? And what about the young man or young woman who takes a stand for Jesus in their public school and is disciplined for it? These are case scenarios of people who want to do right, but now they’re in trouble for it. So here’s what I say, you may face discipline for doing right, “But If God’s In It,” you will be victorious and exonerated when it’s over.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m praying specifically this AM for my friend who is reading this devotional. Please, Jesus, see them through the difficult situation they presently find themself in so You may receive all the glory. Amen
