Admit It! We Needed Help To Get There

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 4:7

For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?

O-bservation:

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Early Church at Corinth and attacked what appears to be a huge sin of pride. This pride must have been stemming from the teachers in the church vying for the people’s attention to achieve one-upmanship. Paul said, “Whatever you have, it was given to you by God. If you have received a gift, why do you act like you haven’t?

A-pplication:

This is a slap in the face to arrogant ministers of the gospel. To me, the phrase “arrogant minister” is an oxymoron. How can you serve others when your approach to others is that you’re better than them? How absolutely foolish. Yet I know men and women today who act as if they are God’s gift to the human race. You don’t know who I’m talking about because, most likely, you’ve never heard of them before. Every one of us who calls on the name of the Lord needs to “Admit It! We Needed Help To Get There!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

May I never boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. I know that the only success I’ve ever achieved has come with the help of lots of other people. Amen

As an experienced attorney who once represented insurance companies, Gregory Ward has a deep understanding of how they operate and what aspects can create or diminish the value of the cases he represents. This knowledge has led him to become a gifted negotiator and litigator defending the rights of his clients residing in the Miami Lakes, Miami, Orlando, and Kissimmee areas.
