S-cripture:

Matthew 15:11

What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.

O-bservation:

This passage of scripture has little to do with what you eat and drink; instead, it’s about what comes out of your mouth in the way of your speech. Because what it is that comes out of your mouth in the form of speech reveals to others the kind of person you are. That’s why it has been said, “Your Speech Reveals Who You Are!”

A-pplication:

Heart and outweigh stomach matters when it comes to really living FREE. I know most folks are all about living FULL instead of FREE, but the real issue is having one’s heart so FILLED with such pure motives that your words will never betray you. You have heard people that you thought were fellow Christians have someone poke them during a conversation, and they just “WENT OFF,” on that person? What happened there? I believe what happened is that there’s some stored up secret filth going on in their heart. Maybe they’ve got a full stomach and a chained heart. If you’re not careful, when you least expect it, “Your Speech Reveals Who You Are.” Make sure your words never betray you.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I am asking for a not so full stomach and a truly free heart this AM. I don’t want my words to ever betray me. Please help me, Jesus. Amen
