Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Isaiah 46:4

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

O-bservation:

Isaiah the Prophet spoke to his people, who had been under bondage to the Babylonian King. The Babylonian gods had failed the people over and over. But here Isaiah reminds the people of Israel that their God will never forsake or fail them … EVER!

A-pplication:

This is a LONG promise by our Savior. By that I mean it was a promise that goes way beyond Isaiah’s time until our time. It touches each of us as it relates to our individual length of days. From the time we are very young until the time we are rich in years and laden with gray hairs, Jesus said, “I’ll help you keep going, and if you need it I will even rescue you should you fall into trouble.” So here we see God’s promise to all of His people through the ages, but even more specifically to each of us, His people. Other gods, friends, activities, and even some family members will fail you. However, our wonderful, loving, and faithful Savior will never, ever let us down. No matter who may have broken a promise to you in the past, “You Can TRUST Jesus Until Your End!”

Dear Jesus,

Thank You this AM that I was young and now I’m not, but I’ve never seen You let me down, EVER! Amen
