S-cripture:

Matthew 7:24
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

O-bservation:

Here Jesus finished his “Sermon On The Mount.” He said, “If you will listen to all of these words of mine and put them into practice, it will be just like the man who built his house on a rock. The rains came and the rivers swelled and the winds blew and beat upon the house but the house stood strong.” Jesus’ “Sermon On The Mount,” was “The Real Rock,” for us to build our lives upon. When we do, nothing the enemy attacks us with can cause us to crumble. Instead, we will be built on “The Real Rock,” and we will stand. No matter what!

A-pplication:

“The Sermon On The Mount,” covers everything we will be faced with in this life. Let me qualify that. I don’t mean that Jesus was teaching us about the coming of Artificial Intelligence. NO! But he taught us how to deal with all of the challenges that may come with the advent of AI. When you research Matthew 5,6, and 7, it really is all-encompassing when it comes to facing every challenge known to humankind. “But Rich, what about this and what about that?” Hey, read it, because it’s all right there. So after giving his famous, “Sermon On The Mount,” Jesus was really saying, “What I’ve just taught you is “The Real Rock,” when it comes to building your life on something that will last.” If you’re like me, the choice is obvious. We must build our lives upon, “The Real Rock!” You’d better read it!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Today I am reading your “Sermon On The Rock,” again so I never forget what I’ve built my life upon. “The Real Rock,” has never failed me. I’ll stay built on, “The Real Rock!” Amen
