The Least Of These

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Matthew 25:45

He will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.”

O-bservation:

This is a scathing mandate against those who, while on earth, had the chance to reach the broken of society but refused to do so. In the end, Jesus said those people would be confined to a Christless eternity. Jesus said, “Because you did not help them, you, in turn, did not help me!”

A-pplication:

Many, even today, wonder who Jesus was speaking of when He defined certain people in society as “The Least Of These?” I believe “The Least Of These” are the chronic broken. By that, I mean they are the people in society who just can’t help themselves. The addicted, alcoholics, homeless, disabled, infirmed, emotionally unstable, and poor. These are just a few who represent “The Least Of These.” Yet there are more in that number that you and I know, and the question is how we have helped them. I can’t speak for you, but I can say I have not done enough. I love everyone but have not done a very good job of reaching everyone. So today, I’m asking the Lord to help me be more attentive, more loving and kinder, and willing to go out of my way to be the one who reaches to help “The Least Of These!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

You’ve already heard my prayer in the post, but I must say that I am ashamed of myself every time I read this verse. I’m not trying to be emotional here, but certainly, I have not done enough. Help me reach an entirely new group of “The Least Of These” in the coming days. Amen

Greg Ward, Attorney

The Ward Law Group

The Ward Law Group was founded by attorneys Gregory Ward and Jany Martinez-Ward with a goal to contribute to the Hispanic community’s legal needs after suffering a car accident. Their passion shows in their work as they ensure that each case settles for the maximum compensation possible, and in supporting represented victims as they recover from physical injuries and financial losses.

As an experienced attorney who once represented insurance companies, Gregory Ward has a deep understanding of how they operate and what aspects can create or diminish the value of the cases he represents. This knowledge has led him to become a gifted negotiator and litigator defending the rights of his clients residing in the Miami Lakes, Miami, Orlando, and Kissimmee areas.
