S-cripture:

Revelation 7:17

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

O-bservation:

The Apostle John saw a vision of countless people dressed in white. He learned these were people who had come out of “Great Tribulation.” He was told that Jesus, the Lamb of God, would wipe every tear from their eyes.

A-pplication:

John’s Revelation is largely futuristic, but the message of this verse holds truth for us in this present time. The question is, who or where are we looking to today to help us overcome our sorrows? Some weep for lack of purpose, others for lack of relationship, still others weep for lack of security. In each case, someone or something has let us down. The LAMB is on the throne right now. There is no need to wait until the end of time, one can “Look To The Lamb” today! If you feel sorrow, loneliness, or insecurity, that’s why Jesus came. He can fill the longing of your heart. It’s definitely time to turn our attention elsewhere. Things and people will always let you down. It’s time to, “Look To The Lamb.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m reminded that You are on the throne right now. I have my eyes fixed on You. I often weep for others, but for me not so much. I know You’ve got me. Amen
