Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 John 1:5

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

O-bservation:

John the Beloved writes that God is so full of light that His brightness leaves absolutely NO room for darkness at any time.

A-pplication:

Darkness has always been associated with the world below. Yet if there was no darkness it would impair humanity’s need for rest. Not everything that happens at night is bad. It is important to note, however, that God is full of light. Darkness cannot overcome the light of our great God. In fact, it was the Lord who created light. So the sun and every star in the universe emanates from Him. Scripture tells us in Revelation 21:23, speaking of heaven, that there will be no need for light there because the glory of the Lord will illuminate the entire City of our God. When Jesus arrives into any situation, always remember it’s “Light In, Darkness Out.”
