Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 110:1
The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

O-bservation:

Here King David somehow was able to look back through ions of time to see or listen in on a conversation between God Almighty and his Son our Savior and Messiah, Jesus. The Lord told Jesus to stay at his right hand until he made the enemies of the heaven his footstool. This signified that in time, Jesus would conquer it all!

A-pplication:

Of course, you and I both know that this short verse covers layers of theological discussion and happenings. In order for this proclamation by the God of the universe to come to pass, Jesus would have to leave the right hand of his Father and put skin on in order to come to earth as a mere mortal. It was to be the greatest sacrifice in the history of mankind. God became man and suffered at the hands of the very people he had come to love and redeem. Yet, because of Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice on the cross, he died and was resurrected three days later from the grave for our redemption. Truly the pronouncement by his Father did come to pass, and as a result, everyone and everything is now subject to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! “Jesus Has Conquered It All!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m so grateful this AM that there is absolutely NOTHING that can keep me separated from you because of what you have done for me. You have conquered it all. Because of that, I am filled with hope. Amen
