Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 12:27

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

O-bservation:

The Apostle Paul went to great lengths to let the people who had accepted Christ in the Early Church understand that they were known as the body of Christ. He told them that each of them was part of it. That message now includes you and me. We are the Church. So, “If You’re A Christian, This Is Who You Are.”

A-pplication:

Why do I make this point? I make it because it’s true. Since it’s true, we must be actively involved in the local church where we live. Whichever church body the Lord leads you to be a part of, that’s your calling. There can be no bad-mouthing your local church family. There should be no fighting, no discord, or animosity in the house where you worship. There’s no getting out of it. You can’t skip it, make excuses for why you can’t come, or find reasons why the pastor is an idiot. You’re a Christian, and you must be involved because you are. The writer of Hebrews said, “Don’t forsake the assembling of yourselves together.” There are no excuses, “If You’re A Christian, This Is Who You Are.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for Your Church, Lord. Thank You that You gave Your life for Your bride. I’m glad to be a part of Your church, Your bride. Help my friend realize this AM, “If You’re A Christian, This Is Who You Are.” Amen
