Psalm 112:5

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.

O-bservation:

King David was quick to give us the secret about how to “Get GOOD” in our life. He said those who are generous and lend freely are those who will “Get GOOD.”

A-pplication:

When you think of “Good Things,” you usually think of happy and successful children, financial blessing and stability, no fear, and a confidence in the Lord. All of these things and more are given in this chapter to people who are generous and lend freely. You don’t have to be wealthy to be generous or to lend freely. There was nothing my father had that he wasn’t willing to lend to someone. He was the most generous man I’ve ever met. And today his children are blessed, as are his grandkids. Why? Because he had found the key to “Getting GOOD” in his life. GOOD seemed to always find my dad. What about you today? Have you sometimes felt like GOOD has left your address? Decide with me today to be generous and lend freely to those in need. That’s the key to “Get GOOD” back in your life.
