S-cripture:

Psalm 119:74
May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.

O-bservation:

King David prayed to God that people would rejoice when they saw him because they would know that he, David, knew God’s word.

A-pplication:

I work with a lot of young adults here in South Florida. This place is not unlike NYC, or LA, because, in many cases people are trying to find their dream here. A number of these young people are “Jesus Followers.” When they get to our church and see all of the young adults, you can see their eyes brighten. It’s as if they have found their tribe. Why? Because in a place far away from home, they finally connect with other people their age who love Jesus. You can see it in them. It’s the look that says…”I’m Home! Don’t ever rest until you first of all..”Find Your TRIBE!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Everything changed the day I met You. I found my TRIBE. I love hanging with other folks but I always have in mind that I need to introduce them to my TRIBE! Most of all to my JESUS. Amen
