All Day Long Songs

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 65:8

The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.

O-bservation:

King David was so impressed with the greatness of his God Almighty that the whole earth is overwhelmed by His miracle-working power. “Because if it,’ David said, ‘Wherever the dawn is, and wherever the sun sets, you call forth songs of Joy!”

A-pplication:

Basically, what David was saying is that our great God illicit’s from people in every corner of the globe “All Day Long Songs.” I can honestly say that as a young person, I mowed people’s grass all day long during the hot summer months. As far back as I can remember, I would sing all day long and do my best to sing louder than the little engine on the lawnmower. Why? Because even as a young person, I was filled with faith, hope, and love for God. It was my joy to sing, even if it meant singing all day long. When you consider the mighty power of our God, is it any wonder that people are filled around the world with “All Day Long Songs” of praise for all He’s done for us. Should there come a point in the middle of the day when you want to hang your head and quit? Remember who He is, and just lift your head and sing for JOY! He is God, and beside him, there is NO OTHER!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I just got up, and I’m singing already! Oh, how great and mighty you are. There is no one like you, my God. I will never stop praising your name and giving you glory. You alone are worthy to receive all of the praise and laud and honor! Amen
