Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Exodus 4:27
The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him.
O-bservation:
“After Forty Years” of not seeing his brother Moses, God spoke to Aaron and said, “Go meet with Moses.” Earlier, Scripture tells us that God had told Moses to go back to Egypt to meet with the elders because the people who wanted to kill Moses were now dead. Moses obeyed the Lord, and as he was obedient, God brought his brother to help him. Moses and Aaron had such a love for one another that “After Forty Years,” they were brought together to accomplish perhaps the greatest mission in history.
A-pplication:
So much good happens when there is love for one another. There are different kinds of love, including family love, friendship love, marital love, and unconditional love. With each of these kinds of love, good things happen. Great accomplishments are realized through friends. Love fosters agreement, and agreement is where victory occurs. When Aaron kissed his long-lost brother, Moses, over four hundred years of Egyptian enslavement began to end. Moses had a partner to stand with him, to see the victory of the Lord for the people of God. If you’ve been burdened and are maybe even in bondage to something or someone, look for someone to join hands with and love one another. Love is the key to your release today.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
Today, I want to say thanks because of the love I’ve experienced through the years by way of friends and family. With every victory I have ever been a part of, someone near me celebrated as well. Amen
