S-cripture:

Luke 4:1

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.

O-bservation:

Some people wonder why Jesus went into the wilderness at all. The scripture tells us that He was FULL of the Holy Spirit, and the SPIRIT led Him into the wilderness to be tempted.

A-pplication:

“Whatever You’re Full Of, You’ll Be Led By.” Some are full of FEAR and every move they make is in fear. Others are full of PRIDE and the way in which they operate is surrounded by arrogance. You’ve met people who are full of BITTERNESS, and their words and actions are filled with cynicism and anger. Jesus was motivated by none of these traits because He was “Full Of The Spirit.” He went places and did things that most of us would never go to or do. It’s because He was full of the Spirit and the Spirit LED Him wherever He went. Sometimes the Spirit will lead us into difficult assignments, but it will always be for our own good. Please remember at the start of this new year, “Whatever You’re Full Of, You’ll Be Led By.”
