Victory in Jesus!

What is your definition of VICTORY?
Many people are being taught that victory is when you or I get OUR will or desires. That, my friend, is not TRUE VICTORY! Victory is when God’s plan brings Him glory. Victory is when your life and your work are given completely over to Jesus. Because when that happens, God can work miracles in and through your life!
Look how Paul describes our Victory in Jesus in I Corinthians:
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 15:54-57)
God gives us victory through Jesus. Life isn’t about us figuring it all out. Life isn’t about us trying to win. We find victory only in Jesus through God.
John 11:25 says, “… I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.”
John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
To find Victory in Jesus, we must give Him control over everything—by faith. He must become our personal Lord on every level of our lives—inside and out.
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1 John 5:4-5)
Our true Victory is IN Christ Jesus. We can have Victory only if we are UNDER Him. That is when we are Victorious OVER what He is OVER. Of that, I am POSITIVE!
