S-cripture:

Revelation 1:3

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

O-bservation:

The Apostle John was on an island called Patmos when he had a Revelation from heaven concerning the “End Times.” He said a special blessing would be given to all those who read this Revelation and take it to heart because, “The Time Is Near.”

A-pplication:

Since I was a little boy, I’ve had this book of Revelation either read to me or I personally have read it over and over again. I can truly say that I still don’t understand all the sequence and what everything means and how it all fits together. But I can tell you this: no man has been more blessed on this planet than I have. What this book of Revelation has done for me is remind me that God has a plan for me here, and in the hereafter. I thoroughly believe that. Consequently, I’ve never just lived for HERE, but also for the HEREAFTER. I love life, my job (calling), my family, His church, people, Sundays, the ocean, and most of all Jesus. The reason I believe I do is because I know “The Time Is Near.”

Dear Jesus,

Please help me live with the END in mind. Amen
