Set Them Apart

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Numbers 8:14

In this way you are to set the Levites apart from the other Israelites, and the Levites will be mine.

O-bservation:

The tribe of Levi was set apart from the other tribes of Israel to be wholly the Lord’s. It was as if there was a tithe of the tribes of Israel given to the Lord. They would attend to the spiritual needs of the people of God. This did not mean they could not sin themselves or that they were in any way less susceptible to the attacks of the devil than anyone else. It simply meant they were God’s to do His bidding.

A-pplication:

The Levites owned nothing. My father-in-law used to say that each of the other eleven tribes of Israel had to tithe to the Levites. That meant even though the Levites were not allowed to own anything or amass wealth in any way, they lived on average a little better than the other tribes because they lived on eleven-tenths of the tithes of the tribes of Israel. The power of the Lord’s words, “Set Them Apart,” has resonated down through the years for men and women to be set apart from the rest to spend time with the Lord so they can lead the people in the ways of the Lord and His righteousness. Yes, like Paul, many have had a tent-making business on the side to feed their families, but still, by and large, men and women must be set apart to be able to give their full attention to the work of the Lord to lead the people of God in His ways.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m grateful this AM that You set me apart from many of my dearest friends to teach me Your ways many years ago. Consequently, I was given time so I might lead a group of your people closer to you. I have never regretted this amazing opportunity. Thank You! Amen

The Ward Law Group was founded by attorneys Gregory Ward and Jany Martinez-Ward with a goal to contribute to the Hispanic community’s legal needs after suffering a car accident. Their passion shows in their work as they ensure that each case settles for the maximum compensation possible, and in supporting represented victims as they recover from physical injuries and financial losses.

As an experienced attorney who once represented insurance companies, Gregory Ward has a deep understanding of how they operate and what aspects can create or diminish the value of the cases he represents. This knowledge has led him to become a gifted negotiator and litigator defending the rights of his clients residing in the Miami Lakes, Miami, Orlando, and Kissimmee areas.
