Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 90:14

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

O-bservation:

This chapter of the book of Psalms happens to be one of the prayers of Moses. He praises the greatness of our dear God yet also mentions sorrows that we mere mortals face in this life. But here, in the middle of the prayer, he says, “Lord help us to live SATISFIED!”

A-pplication:

The way I believe we really could live SATISFIED is if we were to awaken with the memory that our Lord’s love is absolutely unfailing! His love is always there. It’s high, it’s low, it’s at our front, it’s at our back, it’s on our left, it’s on our right, it’s above us, and it’s below us! If you and I would wake up and first consider our Lord’s great love for us each morning, I can almost guarantee that you and I will live SATISFIED! I said almost, because, well, you know.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

The first thing I’m thinking of this AM is your complete and all-encompassing love for me. No wonder I’m already living today SATISFIED! Amen
