S-cripture:

Lamentations 3:26

It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

O-bservation:

Not everyone knows that Jeremiah was the author of the book of Lamentations. It also should be noted that he suffered many things in the Lord’s service. He was called the “Weeping Prophet of the Old Testament.” In this passage, he tells us that waiting quietly for the salvation of the Lord is the best thing you can do in any challenge of life.

A-pplication:

“What should I do if I’m out of money?” Wait on the Lord. “My kids are out of control, what about that?” Just wait for the salvation of the Lord. “I’ve been dating this guy for a long time and he won’t ask me to marry him, what should I do?” Wait for the salvation of the Lord. “My boss doesn’t like me and no matter what I do he seems to make it look like I messed up!” Wait on the Lord. Sometimes I feel like God’s waiting on us to see if we’ll wait on HIM! Yes, I know waiting is the hardest thing to do in many cases. Yet, it’s the waiting that says, “All of my hope and trust is in You. Since I have nowhere else to go, I’ll wait for You to answer.” It’s at that point that the Lord usually answers, because He knows you are depending solely on Him. That’s why Jeremiah said, “Just Wait … It’s GOOD!”
