Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.
O-bservation:
John the Apostle envisioned the great battle of Armageddon, which is known the world over as the war to end all wars. He saw everyone ready to wage war against Jesus. But John said Jesus the Lamb will triumph because He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
A-pplication:
The question remains, why does the enemy of our souls continue to try and overtake Jesus. The enemy knows and quotes the written Word of God. He knows the last chapters of Revelation. He certainly knows he has no chance against the King of kings. Yet he pushes on toward his demise. He’s not a robot, because he’s always had a chance to walk away. When he considered, “should I go or should I stay?” he was in effect choosing to run toward this battle. Why did he run from the only true and wise God? “I Still Don’t Get It.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
When I fail You it doesn’t mean I’m running, it means I’m just not that bright. You are my Lord of lords and King of kings. I ceased running a long time ago. Amen
