Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
John 7:12
Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others replied, “No, he deceives the people.”
O-bservation:
It was the annual Feast of Tabernacles, and Jewish leaders were looking for Jesus but He had not yet arrived. The discussion about Him was fierce. Many thought He was a good man. Still, others thought He was a deceiver.
A-pplication:
Wherever the Christian faith goes, DIVISION follows. In a world where hard hearts rule, the thought that there is someone who really is authentic is unacceptable. When the discussion of Jesus is brought up, almost always, there is a DIVISION of the house. Some say He’s great, and others say He’s a flake. It’s always been that way, and nothing appears to be changing. The hope, then, is for a Church United. Truly it is blessed when brothers dwell together in UNITY. Whatever it takes, may we decide today that for we “Followers Of Jesus,” there will be no DIVISION among us.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
PLEASE UNITE US! Amen
