Not necessarily. We usually register infant up to 6-year-old to be dedicated.

Does scripture require child dedication?

The Bible does not require children to be dedicated but we do see examples of this in the scripture. Such as when Hannah presented her first born son Samuel. “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.” 1 Samuel 1:27-28 KJV

What's the cutoff age for child dedications?

We usually dedicate children up to 6-years-old

What happens during a child dedication?

It is a special ceremony that takes place during our 11:30am service. We ask parents and children to come on stage while the family members and friends stay seated. The pastors then read out loud the name of the child before the congregation. The pastor then prays over the children and their families.

The Ward Law Group was founded by attorneys Gregory Ward and Jany Martinez-Ward with a goal to contribute to the Hispanic community’s legal needs after suffering a car accident. Their passion shows in their work as they ensure that each case settles for the maximum compensation possible, and in supporting represented victims as they recover from physical injuries and financial losses.

As an experienced attorney who once represented insurance companies, Gregory Ward has a deep understanding of how they operate and what aspects can create or diminish the value of the cases he represents. This knowledge has led him to become a gifted negotiator and litigator defending the rights of his clients residing in the Miami Lakes, Miami, Orlando, and Kissimmee areas.
