We Should Too!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Chronicles 23:30

They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening.

O-bservation:

These were some of the duties that were required by the Tribe of Levites, who served the sons of Aaron in the ministry. What’s so amazing was that each morning and each evening, seven days a week, the Levites stood and praised and thanked the Lord when they got up in the morning and did the same before they went to bed. No wonder God blessed the Israelites above all others for so many years. They simply started and ended each day thanking and praising the Lord! “We Should Too!”

A-pplication:

When I say, “We Should Too,” it’s not just a boring response with no thought. Throughout the Word of God, we are admonished to daily give God praise and thanksgiving for all he’s done. I know you may be thinking, “Well right now I’m going through the most difficult time in my life.” I’m sure that could be true yet, so also, was that true for many of the Levites on any given day. Certainly, there were times when they would praise and thank the Lord in the morning and evening when they were sick or their own children were dying. However, they stayed faithful in their praise and thanksgiving to God. And guess what? God blessed them and protected them, and sheltered them. No one deserves praise and thanksgiving more than our great God and Savior! If Israel praised and thanked the Lord every morning and evening, “We Should Too!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m so blessed to be your servant. I’m so blessed to be able to proclaim your name to everyone I meet. I praise you and I thank you for who you are! Amen
