Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 48:10
Like your name, oh God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.

O-bservation:

Once again, the Psalmist here speaks of the majesty and glory of our wonderful Lord. He said that righteousness is in God’s right hand, and then he said, “Your praise reaches, ‘To The Ends Of The Earth.” When you consider the vastness of the earths size, you have to wonder if there are enough believers on the planet praising God, “To The Ends Of The Earth.”

A-pplication:

In David’s time, there were not many believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, simply because there weren’t many living on the planet at that time. David lived and prepared to rule around the year 1000BC. The statistics tell us that the world’s total population in 1000BC was around 50 million people. Today the world population 3000 years later is nearly 8 billion people!! Of the 8 billion people living on planet earth today, approximately 2.6 billion are Christians. Remember, in David’s day there were only 50 million people total who were alive and certainly not all of them were Jewish. But if in that day such a few number of people could fill the heavens with the praises of God, “To The Ends Of The Earth,” how much more can 2.6 billion Christians fill the whole earth with the praises of God, “To The Ends Of The Earth?” CHURCH! Let’s do it again today!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

How very grateful I am for you and for who you are to the whole population of the world, whether they serve you or not. We couldn’t even get out of bed this AM without you giving us strength again today. I praise you my God, “To The Ends Of The Earth!!” Amen
