Dear Church, We wanted to update you on how we are doing our part to help our community during this time. Trinity Church, in partnership with the Miami Dolphins, is supplying 400 daily pre-made boxed meals to serve some of our most vulnerable Miami Dade County residents. The Miami Rescue Mission, our community partner, is overseeing the distribution of these meals daily. We anticipate growing this opportunity as we stay strongly COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY. #BetterTogether

To find out more information on how you can help our community in this time,
please read this letter from our Senior Pastors, Rich & Robyn Wilkerson

For over twenty years, Trinity Church has served the Miami-Dade County community. Trinity Church established its Peacemaker Family Center in 2000, as a response to the social service needs of individuals and families in the county. Trinity Church’s Peacemaker Family Center (TC/PFC) is a recognized leader in developing, operating, and implementing programs to strengthen youth and families. During the 2019-2020 contract year, TC/PFC has been providing a variety of services to the community with the funding support of The Children’s Trust of Miami-Dade County, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Volunteer Florida (AmeriCorps State), AmeriCorps VISTA, The State of Florida Attorney General’s Office, and the National Geographic Society.

During these unprecedented times, many of our community services have been curtailed by COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and other prevention measures recommended by our local, state, and Federal Government, as well as the CDC. Our church building has stayed open for the many essential services businesses located inside our campus including a dialysis clinic, and other medical professionals. At the request of the Miami-Dade County Early Learning Coalition, our Trinity Christian Academy Day Care is open to serve children of those deemed essential workers in our community.

On Easter weekend we livestreamed our worship services to thousands – but also our Trinity Church Children’s Ministries servant leaders distributed more than 400 Easter baskets by delivering to more than 250 individual homes! Children and their families are the HEART of Trinity Church!

Today we have partnered with the Miami Dolphins to provide food resources to vulnerable community members experiencing homelessness and children living in foster care group homes. We will continue to serve our community in ways that meet the needs of the most vulnerable while adhering to the best information available to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Dr. Robyn and I look forward to being able to gather in the Lord’s House again, but until then, you and your family remain in our prayers.

Please consider joining Robyn and me by investing in Trinity Church’s COVID19 DISASTER RELIEF effort as we continue to launch into more and effective ways of serving those in need.
