Somebody once said, “If you can’t handle STRESS, you’ll never manage SUCCESS!” There are a couple of quick things I want to say about STRESS.
1) Stress is a layering of issues in your everyday life that build up to the point that you feel as though you’re “ON EDGE.” When that happens to me, I stop what I’m doing and stand up. I take three deeps breaths and hold each one for a short while, and then I walk. Walk until you can think clearly.
2) Stress can produce FEAR. We’ve heard it before, FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. When that happens, begin to confess out loud, “Lord I know you won’t put more on me than I can handle today!” That’s in reference to the powerful promise found in 1 Corinthians 10:13!
Today, should the STRESS get you down, 1st - Walk It Off, then 2nd - Confess It Off! Remember, SUCCESS is heading YOUR way!
