| Faith Is ----?? | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| Faith is – PRAYING for Guidance Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. Ps 25:4-5 The walk of faith is an adventure in a holy partnership. You are a human being with the mortal starting point at birth and a mortal terminal point at death. The span between your birth and death is an earthly life. Your purpose is to fit into a holy scheme, and become a participant with God. He created the world and all of us human beings for the purpose of creatively achieving His holy and happy purposes. You are walking in FAITH when you dream God’s dreams and seek God’s guidance. Faith is not merely a super-aggressive activity into which you plunge with a gung-ho attitude, to achieve the first impulse that explodes in your mind. Rather, faith is a steady, stable, and steadfast process of opening your conscious and subconscious mind through prayer to the Holy Spirit. The eternal God will shape your will and direct your way! God promised He will give you guidance. 3 STEPS to hearing God’s voice: EVERYDAY… 1. Read your Bible and our ‘WORD FOR TODAY’ devotional --every day-- ! 2. Speak out these prayers of affirmation: “I am driven by divine destiny.” “I am praying for guidance now.” “I am opening my mind consistently and constantly to God.” 3. …then for a few minutes….quiet your mind and open your heart… God WILL speak to you. Get ready to hear His thoughts for YOU. Giving your time daily to quietly listening for God’s voice, will guide you into your perfect destiny! Praying for you and believing for your best! | Trinity Church RAWX! | |||
| Written by Jon-Fulton Wilkerson | |||
| Whats up everyone! I just wanted to say how extremely blessed I am to be apart of such an awesome church called Trinity! Trinity Church whether we even realize it or not, is the church of the future! This ministry is already accomplishing what churches around the country and even world just now are beginning to dream about! Trinity Church is EXACTLY what heaven will look like! We really are a "melting pot" church in its truest sense. Its so exciting to come to Trinity on a midweek service such as the Rendezvous or to any of our four services on the weekend and to see people from all over world coming together all in one accord worshipping God truly is mind blowing! I guess what makes it so special for me is that the historical, and even in some cases the modern church has always said that it can't be done. Growing up I had the privilege to travel all over this great country and even the world, I found that the churches I attended only offered one thing to one group of people depending on the "majority". As I went from church to church i was always so amazed to see just how small if any at all the minority really was. I always would ask myself, "Is this really the way Jesus intended the Christian church to look like?" This is not the case here at Trinity Church! We have just about every culture every color and creed you can think of, and for some reason it just works! Being apart of Trinity Church has completely changed my perspective on life. It has taught me that no matter what environment, circumstance, situation you find yourself in YOU CAN excel! When I was younger i had this ignorant idea that the only way I could really be all I could be, was if I was surrounded by people exactly like me, people whose interests and thought processes lined up exactly with mine. But you know what I've come to find out that its actually the exact opposite!!!! When you surround yourself with people who all are different and who all have different backgrounds, interests, views on life that it actually helps you grow! You end up taking just a little bit from everyone and sooner or later you begin to notice your own capacity growing! For me Trinity Church has done that. I can honestly say I will never be happy hanging out with a big old group of people who are exactly like me. Thank God I don't have to because I am apart of this family! Anyways I love you all God bless!-- -jf |

| New Year's First 40 DAYS- | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| Can you believe that week 3 is complete?
How has it been for YOU? are you hanging in there on your 'first 40 days'...and your challenge to complete your resolutions?
If your week was anything like ours it was FULL! Full of responsibilities, joys, unexpected surprises and packed schedules! Life never pauses for us to take a breath - it often moves at such a fast pace that it can wear us down and take our focus off of our true purpose. We can fly through life without stopping to take the time to renew our spirit and mind in the Presence of God. Matthew 11:28 says… Come Unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
The demands of our schedule – job, family, friends, church and so forth – start piling up and overlapping as we race around to complete everything on our “to do” list. We have all fallen into the trap of moving too fast and eventually our busyness leads to break down. Every area of our life suffers as we continue on - functioning much lower than our full potential.
If this is you – take the time today to slow down and set aside some time to spend with the Lord.
Jesus poses this invitation in Matthew to all who labor – and to anyone who responds to this invitation He promises to give them rest. Don’t just run in and out of the presence of God today. Plan to settle down and stay there long enough to get what you need to carry on! When we truly rest in His presence is when we receive. Stay there a while and let the Holy Spirit give you joy, peace, wisdom and direction.
Spending time with God is not an option – it is the ANSWER!
Make sure that your Challenge is centered on getting to know Jesus Christ – not just reading about Him. He welcomes you today into His presence! You will be strengthened, refreshed, recharged and supernaturally empowered so you can get back out there with a fresh perspective and new energy to finish what you have started! Go For It!

| FAITH IS… BELIEVING YOU WILL MAKE IT!
How are your New Year's Resolutions going? MY40DayChallenge.com - is rockin on! Last Sunday special guest speaker, Bishop Darrell Hines, taught us to “Keep Giving, Keep Trusting, and Don’t Be Afraid”. Spiritual growth begins with a decision. It doesn’t have to be a complex decision, but it does have to be sincere. When Jesus’ followers decided to choose His way, they didn’t understand all the implications of their decision. They simply expressed a desire to follow Him, and that was the beginning of an exciting journey of the soul. Jesus took that simple but sincere decision and built on it. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Philippians 2:12-13 (NLT) The truth is growth in the human soul requires a commitment to grow. A person must want to grow, decide to grow, and make an effort to grow. In Philippians 2:12-13, Paul offers insight into spiritual growth while speaking to people who already believe: “... continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose” (NIV). Notice that it says “work out” – not “work on” – your salvation. There is nothing you can do to save yourself spiritually; Christ took care of that by his life, death, and resurrection. The important thing to note is that God has a part in our growth – but so do we. We must make an intentional effort to grow!
“He (God) who has begun a good work in you will complete it…” Phil. 1:6
Deliberately I exercise my faith by repeating these positive prayer affirmations:I am thanking God – today – that He has a plan for my life! I am trusting that God has inspired me to begin – surely He will guide me to succeed. I am walking the walk of faith. I am thinking God’s thoughts. I am setting goals. I am charting a course. I am believing that I will succeed. God is not a quitter. He is a finisher! God, who has begun a good work in me – will complete it!

| 40 Day Challenge- HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009! | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| What is holding you back? ...”The Tipping Point”... In his best-selling book, “The Tipping Point”, author Malcolm Gladwell describes the moment of critical mass when ideas, products, and group behaviors "tip" into the culture and take root. Research shows that personal behavior has its own tipping points: In many cases, the more times you try to change a habit; the more likely you are to ultimately succeed. The Apostle Paul understood that there was a tipping point in his life when he wrote: …I haven't learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be…I am still not all I should be, but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for us. Phil 3:12-14 TLB The secret of true breakthrough in our lives is to keep going. So here it is…my ‘40 Day Challenge’ goals are about making daily choices – small choices – that have big possibilities to change my life – forever! Simply put - I have to keep getting back up when I fall down! It’s said that Christopher Columbus faced incredible difficulties while sailing west in search of a passage to Asia. He encountered storms, experienced hunger, deprivation and extreme discouragement. The crews of his three ships were near mutiny. But his account of the journey says the same thing over and over: “Today, we sailed on.” His perseverance paid off. He didn’t discover a fast route to the spice rich Indies; instead he discovered a new continent! Today – I didn’t get my 3 mile walk done. I ran out of time. (Hmmm..Is that a play on words?) I haven’t completed by devotional time, or read the chapters of the book I am reading…but my “TIPPING POINT”, my break though moment…. my moment when I am going to ‘fall into success’ is in my future….if I will just do one thing…. I have to get back up when I fall down. That’s all God is asking from me…get up…keep sailing…He will do the rest! “We will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 |

| No more lunch boxes! | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! “Waters to swim in…” Ezekiel 47:1-5 Dear Friend: Today I reached a lifetime milestone: My 4th son, Taylor - my youngest child - just got in the car and drove to his first day of his last year of highschool! This was the last 'first day of school' for me. No more shopping for school supplies or backpacks or lunch boxes. At 18 years old, he looked so handsome in his red, navy and khaki school uniform. I kissed him, told him that he had brought me more joy in life than I could describe. ...and felt so overwhelmed with God's providence. I have been so blessed to have four incredible boys...and now this last one - my blue eyed brunnette lover boy - has stepped into his senior year of highschool! WOWWEEE! Needless to say - I am entering into the transition in life that bridges motherhood to the 'empty nest'. :) As I watched him drive away, I wondered what it was that I am supposed to do now? Motherhood has been the core of every day that I have lived since Jan.8, 1981 and the birth of my first baby boy. Today, 27 years later...I wonder what I have to offer. Am I too old? Do motherhood skills have a shelf life? Is there purpose beyond laundry baskets and football games and spelling tests? Stepping into the unknown is always scary...and always demands more from me than I ever think I can give. It made me think about a story... Have you heard about the frog that was born at the bottom of a well? He thought life couldn’t get any better till one day he looked up and saw daylight. Climbing up to investigate he was amazed to find a large pond and he quickly jumped in to enjoy his new found opportunity. Next going further he discovered a lake that was bigger again. When eventually he came to the ocean and all he could see was water, it dawned on him just how limited his thinking had been! He had believed that everything he needed for life was down inside well, but in fact, that little well was only a drop in the bucket compared to all that was out there for him to enjoy! Wouldn’t you like to step out in faith, experience new depths in Him and go where you’ve never been before? Maybe you are living today in your own little “well” – reluctant to leave your comfort zone, settling for a limited and safe existence while God has rivers deep enough ‘to swim in’. Remember, the enemy will do everything he can to keep you focused on your background, your lack of formal education, your appearance, and your limited resources. It doesn’t matter whether you are short of money, people, energy, or time. When God invites us to step out into our destiny, He will always challenge us with a vision that is greater than our present resources! Fear cannot limit our vision, because when God is our source, His supply is UNLIMITED! One idea from Him, just one, can change your life and the lives of others. He has great things in store for you today – so start thinking outside the box!
We are praying for you….Now…MOVE FORWARD..He will meet you in tomorrow! Life in on our hands...He has given us the power to choose. God's Will is that all of us step into the destiny that He has designed for us! HIS WILL IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY. So as we are thinking about the next ten years at Trinity Church here in Miami...here is my thought:

| MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!! | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| YOU are SO important to us! Every day we thank God that we can be part of this wonderful family – MORE THAN ENOUGH! That is what we are promised! Jesus came to give us more than enough. He said, “I am come that they might have life....more abundantly!” John 10:10 But as we grow in faith, and walk in obedience to God’s Word… God gives us more than our cup can hold! Psalms 23:5 says that, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.” God gives to us until it runs over. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over…” God gives us more than we expect. Eph 3:20 “Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of-infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.” God makes us more than conquerors. No matter what you are facing…the Scripture promises that”… despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ…” Rom 8:37 God fills us to overflowing. John 7:37-39, “For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of anyone who believes in me." Thank you so much for stepping out and believing with us that God’s WORD is TRUE! By being a faithful partner, you are putting God’s promises into action in your life. We know that by living it out, day by day, all the resources that you need to fulfill God’s calling in your life will be there when you need them, because He always gives us: MORE THAN ENOUGH! We love you, Pastors Rich and Robyn |

| Taylor is 18 years old! PARTY :) | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| My fourth fabulous son turned 18 years old tonight. What words describe this night? Pride, accomplishment, overwhelming love for this INCREDIBLE BOY who blesses our home...but although he is on his way to manhood...there's more to say, and more for Taylor to learn...Here's my thoughts tonight, 18 years after the birth of my Taylor David Sheldon - 8lbs 6 oz. - tonight he is 6 foot and 190lbs of fighting football muscle!..you are on the brink of beginning life...here are my thoughts tonight in a world that is shouting destruction and chaos....here goes: It has always been the same...I have to step into God's plan to receive the blessings He has for me!
God has a PLAN, a PROVISION, and a PREPARATION for your TOTAL RESCUE and RECOVERY for EVERY situation that you face. It doesn’t happen by accident … you experience it by being equipped and ready with the proper faith-filled tools. The key to walking in financial victory, happy relationships, and divine health in these days and in the future, is our covenant relationship with God. As the world struggles, God’s people who walk in covenant will have supernatural provision. God has a covenant with you that will never be broken: “My covenant will I not break, no alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”(Psalm 89:34) Remember, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Because you are a covenant person, God will take care of you, even in times of famine and difficulty. While the world struggles, you will rejoice, for the God you serve has given this promise: Job 5:20-22 says, “In famine he will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword. You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes.You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth.” The Word of God clearly states that the Lord will so take care of you that you will laugh in the face of destruction and famine because you belong to God. Those things may affect the world, but they will not affect you! 2 Cor 5:17-18: “… new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” You are in this world, but you don’t belong to it, nor are you run by it! The world’s economy will continue to crumble, but your position as a believer is one of strength and power. The Bible declares, The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.Psalm 37:18-19WE SHALL BE SATISFIED! The Hebrew translation for this word is “filled to satisfaction.” Your inheritance is forever! If you look to the world, you will lose, but if you look to God and His Word, you will be victorious and never lack. Trust only in the Lord, and as you do, you will be blessed: “But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jer 17:7-8Don’t look for a formula. All you have to do is walk in a covenant relationship with the Lord, for “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4The Word of God assures us that “the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” (Prov.13:22), and “in the house of the righteous is much treasure” Prov. 15:6.As you sow your seed of financial giving … as you sow your seed of love and acceptance in your personal relationships … as you sow your seed of forgiveness and Christian service … as you sow your seed of healthy habits … GOD WILL STEP IN AND GIVE YOU MORE SEED!
It is in the obedient 'ACTION' of actually 'GIVING' and really 'DOING' that God supernaturally supplies the resources you need to fulfill YOUR calling. Wrap your faith around your financial seed and sow it with excitement and expectation! Mom |

| ...to have the life you hope for!! | |||

“I have … plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jeremiah 29:11 TM Dear Friends:
In the Book of Jeremiah, the story of God’s people tells that they were living as slaves in Babylon. Why? Because of disobedience to God. And worse, Babylon was about as pagan as you could get. It wasn’t the kind of place Christians hung out: it was a moral and spiritual wasteland. Yet in the midst of all the bondage, broken dreams, hopelessness and despair … right there in chapter 29 … along comes the God of hope saying, “I still have a plan for you. It’s not over till I say so. I am going to turn things around for you. Your best days are ahead.”
There is HOPE for you today … get going with HIS WILL now! Remember – to hear God speak to you – you must spend time in His Word. Take time to read your Bible every day. Meditate on what you read and then open your heart to receive God’s direction. He already has your “one of a kind” personalized “maximum success life plan” ready –

| Momma was right- AGAIN! | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| Ha...I did NOT believe her. I was certain that she had no way of knowing what it was like to be me. I wasn't really like her. She made the choice to be married to a preacher, and raise 4 kids! Boring. She made the choice to work like crazy to assist my father in every endeavor he tried...boring for SURE! She cooked, cleaned, shopped at the thrift stores...putting meals, house, and clothing together in the 'coolest' most 'hip' way that she could...all for us. BORING! BORING! BORING! One boring Sunday morning, 40 years ago---she and I got into a huge loud shouting fight about whether I would go to church that day. As she attempted to swat me with the kitchen spatula, I shouted the worst thing I could think to scream,..."I will NEVER EVER be like YOU!" She landed the spatula on my fanny, and although she may have been pained by my teenage insults...I finished getting dressed and went to church. (of course I went...she always KNEW I would go!) She was beyond BORING. She was a sad pitiful joke. That's what I thought about my boring mom! The thing about my mom...even though she was "boring" I found out...that she was often 'right'. She told me that staying married to the same man (a man who served the Lord)- would be the most prosperous plan for me. She meant that by staying married I had the best chance for family wholeness, for my children to grow up emotionally secure, for my finances to prosper...and most of all...I would have a SAFE SOLID place to live..all the days of my earthly life. Well - SHE WAS RIGHT AGAIN. Today, I didn't 'feel so good'. I felt 'down'. But because I made the very smart decision to listen to momma...to believe that she knew more than I did...I stayed married. I had watched her make personal sacrifices for us. I had followed her example...SHE LIVED THE TRUTH. I followed her. I poured into my kids. I went to church. I lived the 'boring life'. Outcome for me 40 years after that emotional Sunday morning blowup with my momma?. ..Today, when I 'feel down'...since I live in a safe secure home with a family that will take care of me when I need them...I have the luxury of indulging for a few hours in my 'down feeling'. No - I won't stay in my 'down' mode long. I will get back up...I always do. The Scripture teaches that my emotions aren't my reality...instead my reality is shaped by my FAITH that God is in control...and I can trust HIM to show me my pathway to prosperity. EVERYDAY! Remember, I define "prosperity" as God giving me ..."all the resources I need to do what I have been called to do"! Momma was right!!!! What my friends...and the TV said was a "submissive sub-par" lifestyle...as BORING...turned out to be the best lifestyle earth has to offer! I am 54 years old...and now I have 4 Christian sons and a beautiful Christian daughter in law...I am healthy. I can drive my car, order a burger, wear new shoes, and work with the most fabulous people I have ever known...NOW---that is TRUE PROSPERITY. Yep--Momma was right. (She always is!) |

| Don't Build Your Box Too Small | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| ..."When someone lights a lamp, does he put a box over it to shut out the light? .....Mark 4:21-25 Isn't life so "daily"? Life presses forward. It continues to evolve...childhood to adulthood. It's all so day by day -seeming to stay the same...day after day...routines shifting so slightly to evolve into the next 'life stage'. Childhood firsts...give way to adolescent highs and lows. Teenage thrills fade - to be replaced with young adult experiences - marriage, motherhood, money and meeting the needs of everyone. Each turning stage of life is loaded with new challenges - tough challenges - each harder to handle. The 'test of life' presses on and on. But, with 'graduation' from the last life phase, I gain new skills and experience that somehow give me the tools to make it through the next coming phase. Over and over I find myself being pushed out of my 'safety net' or 'comfort zone' , thinking I am going to fall and never get up....but amazingly I will perservere and at the 'last moment' the needed skill or resource will appear to rescue me. My sense is that it is uncanny how without me even sensing it, I am somehow being 'prepared', 'honed', 'trained' for the next coming experience and challenge. Today- I wonder if I am really maximizing my past "test" experiences...am I leveraging the gifts that I have been given...by just 'living through' and then mastering the challenges that came with the past phase. AM I? I think that instead --I build a 'BOX' and cover the 'light of my life'. The box is made up of lots of stuff - my laziness, my excuses, my comfort zone--my fear. Fear of what? I suppose that living through transitions is terrifying. I don't like to change. Fear of 'the unknown' perhaps? How will change (even for the better) effect me? Who or what will change or move away from me if I really focus, push, engage - take action. Letting my 'life light' hide under my 'fear box' sounds unreasonable, but reading Mark 4 - lets me know that the problem is common to others - just like me...Mark writes ... When someone lights a lamp, does he put a box over it to shut out the light? Of course not! The light couldn't be seen or used. A lamp is placed on a stand to shine and be useful. 22 "All that is now hidden will someday come to light. 23 If you have ears, listen! 24 And be sure to put into practice what you hear. The more you do this, the more you will understand what I tell you. 25 To him who has shall be given; from him who has not shall be taken away even what he has. Mark 4:21-25TLB It's time to take off the box. |

Body and soul, I am marvelously made!I worship in adoration — what a creation! 15 You know me inside and out,you know every bone in my body;You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,how I was sculpted from nothing into something. 16 Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;all the stages of my life were spread out before you,The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one .
I think I am going to CHILL OUT- worry less. Laugh MORE.

| What I do matters | |||
| Written by ROBYN WILKERSON | |||
| Today and really most of the time - I think that I would like to..."just do what I want".... I feel like a benefit of having more and more birthdays, should be 'doing whatever whenever I want'. Doesn't that sound like it should be true? Working hard for years, earning the right to choosing my course, seems like the 'fair' outcome. New styles, new music, new methods....what was wrong with the style that looked cool on me, or the music that I just learned the words to, or the technology that never let me down? Wrinkles and grey hair ought to buy my freedom of people's expectations - right? Nope - I am finding that life doesn't work that way. Instead - more and more I see that my actions, my attitudes, and my behaviors show up everywhere I go! Looking into the eyes of my grown children, I often receive back the concentrated "reconstituted" version of opinions and ideas that have originally been espoused by - ME! Being on the receiving end of an attitude usually feels opposite of what I experienced when I was on the 'sending end'. Someone once said to me...'that what one generation condones - the next generation openly practices'. Meaning - what I allow or demonstrate in my life - (even if I am hiding it from my public world) ...my private world (my family & friends) later accept as common practice! "SHOCKING" today - becomes "COMMON" tomorrow - if I allow it. Hmmm.... just when I think that I have 'earned' the 'freedom' to 'just think , do and say whatever'...another big son walks into my office. Yes - I am a grownup. Yes- I have my mind fixed on most issues - ...but what I do today continues to shape the community around me...and whether I want to face it or not - MY COMMUNITY today will shape MY FUTURE tomorrow. So the question really is ---what do I want my future to look like?...it's really up to me...right? ![]() ![]()
"Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a self-sufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life ...sharing all the good things that you have and experience."

| This World Has Nothing For Me | |||
| Written by Rich Wilkerson Jr. | |||
| This past Sunday we sang an amazing song during worship called "Rescue." At the bridge of the song there was a little line that said "This world has nothing for me. I will follow you." What a profound, yet simple statement. This world is just a temporary place, yet we place such an emphasis on it. The Bible says in I John 2:15 "Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
Maybe today you don't think that you love the world, yet loving the world can become evident in other ways other then just partaking in your sinful desires. Couldn't it be possible that an example of loving the world might be the fact that you care more about what the world says rather then what God says? In the book of Matthew chapter 6 verse 25 Jesus says "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?" Even though we have this commandment from Jesus we still tend to worry about things that are not necessary. And why do we do it? We do it because the world tells us too. The world is fading away and they don't know what to do about it because they have not given themselves over to the Savior. "And the world is passing away, and also its lusts, but the one who does the will of God abides forever" I John 2:17. We have a decision to make as Christians today. Are we going to believe the words of Jesus when he says "Do not worry." Or are we going to listen to the voices of the world who fear tomorrow and what it might bring. In my life I have decided that this world has nothing for me. I know that this world is passing away. Rather than listen to "Dead Men Walking," I want to cling to the words of the "Eternal King." |

| This Sunday May 20th I'll be speaking on the subject...."How to Get Rid of the BLUES". We will have as our guests The "Blues Brothers" all the way from.....right here in Miami. Everyone gets a free pair of FAKE Ray Ban sunglasses like Jake and Elwood wore in the movie in 1985. You say ..."Pastor Rich, what's the point"? ANSWER: We just don't believe that life was meant to be boring or that church was meant to be boring. The Bible is undeniably the most intriging book ever written in history. Besides, the topic that I'm dealing with is pertinent. Never have soooooo many people been so depressed and full of despair. Some call it hopelessness, others call it THE BLUES". When Jesus talks about abundant living and springs of living water...depression is not what HE had in mind. I'll talk about it ythis Sunday. I hope to see you there, with my Bible in my hand and God's word in my heart. Love You, Pastor Rich | |||
| Easter Victory | |||
| Written by Rich Wilkerson Sr. | |||
| Hey Trinity Church family, I trust you're still sensing the victory that we as a church experienced this past week. I waited until today to post these thoughts because I didn't have all the numbers tallied. Well here they are: 3500 people paid to see our Easter Show...."Jesus of Nazareth"...last Wed.-Fri. A total of 420 people made decisions to follow Jesus. On Sunday we had 4100 people in our 3 morning services. A total of 239 made decisions to follow Jesus on Sunday!!!!! There is no question in my mind that we have entered a season of "God's Favor". What does that mean? I believe that we as a church fellowship have moved beyond doubt to a continual place of faith. That's not to say that we no longer have questions when faced with obstacles that seem bigger than our limited ability to handle, but we're learning to trust Jesus first and our human instincts later. What should we do with this Divine favor that is upon us? Let's use it to promote the good news of Jesus more emphatically than ever. Let's use it to help those who are hurting, defenseless, lacking self worth, and abused to the best of our ability. And finally, let's keep the good things of God rolling down onto this region known as DADE County. Most of all let's keep Jesus our Lord and Savior #1 in our private life, in our family life and in our professional life. It was John the Baptist who said..."He [speaking of Jesus] must increase and I must decrease" Now that's what I call...EASTER VICTORY!!!!!! See you Sunday, with my Bible in my hand and God's word in my HEART. Blessings, Pastor Rich |
